Quite apart from the untouched stretch of sandy beach just across the road from the hotel, when you stay at Rhos on Sea Golf Club you have a variety of interesting things to do while visiting, ranging from the quirky to the awe-inspiring. Here are a few ideas;

Conwy Castle

One of Edward I’s defence castles, Conwy is a magnificent example of a medieval fortress and holds many events through the year.

The Home Front Museum

This tiny but well thought-out presentation gives us an idea of what life was like for the people at home during the war years. Well worth a visit!

Llandudno

A famous seaside holiday destination, Llandudno offers a great day out for the family. Ride the tram or the cable car, go for a spin on the ski slope or toboggan, enjoy the varied restaurants, take the land train around the Marine Drive or enjoy the wildlife on the Great Orme.

St. Trillo’s Chapel

This tiny chapel can be found on the foreshore of Rhos on Sea. Its alter is built over the site of a pre-Christian holy well.

Bodnant Gardens and Welsh Food Centre

Located in the Conwy Valley this is a place to enjoy the fantastic landscaped and wild gardens and then stock up on some of Wales’ best food and drink products.

Surf Snowdonia

If you don’t mind venturing a bit further afield go and see the spectacular man-made wave machine in action in the mountains of Snowdonia. If you like surfing then grab a board and jump in!

Eirias Park

Conwy County’s premier sporting and non-sporting facility, you can swim, play tennis or bowls, enjoy the fitness and health suite or simply enjoy the gardens and children’s playground.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo

With panoramic views and breathtaking scenery, what better place to meet and learn about the range of animals that live in this North Wales haven.
